Wedding

On December 23, 2006, we held a wedding ceremony and a party. Because it was in Shinto style, a Japanese traditional way, we have Kimono on us.

Shopping and "Nabe"

I went to the downtown of Osaka, which has been the second largest city in Japan next to Tokyo, although the difference is now too large. We have had a kind of underdog feeling of "underdog"... It is true that many people here dislike Tokyo and people in Tokyo, although people in Tokyo do not care about that.
Anyway, I bought two shoes and one jeans. I found most of jeanse sold were low-rise... I knew that is trend, but I did not expect normal jeans would disappear from the market. I bought that kind jeans, but... i wonder i would like it... Must feel weird.



Dinner was "Nabe", which is typical Japanese dinner in winter season. There are many kinds of that, but today's was the top ranked fare, fugu-Nabe, a.k.a. "Tecchiri."
Fugu is a kind of fish which has poison in it to attack enemies. There were many people who died because of poison of that. I could not find the English name of that. Does somebody know it?

Missing the life in DC, the school days, and buddies there more than else, I have left DC Dec. 15 for Osaka, Japan.

What was waiting for me was... a stupid dog, named "Rinta."
