Visit to shrine

I visited Yasaka shrine, famous shrine located in east Kyoto, as new years visit. I made a wish to God in shinto religion.

"Osechi"

Osechi is the name of food, which we prepare for new years holidays (1/1-1/3). Each food in each slot has special meaning. For instance, shrimp is for long life, and maron is for more money
to be gathered.

Winter party

Japanese style party. People in the photos are my friends belonging to the same tennis team. We usually have "nabe", which is shown in the left pict, for parties in winter season. Nabe and hot sake (or beer) make our body hot...
